im at home from school atm. l keep having humongous mood swings that can last up to weeks. right now l was really angry now im in tears, im slightly suicidal. my mums at work, she left frustrated with me because l wouldnt go to school. this is beginning to get to much for me to handle, we've applied for counslleling but the waiting list is very long.

i cant handle this anymore.

You sound like a normal teenager to me.

go to the doctor before its too late.
there is something that a doctor can do to make you stop feeling like this.

Hang in there. It sounds like you could be bi-polar and medication would help. But only a doctor can make that diagnosis. Try to find a different clinic who can get you in sooner. If they understand that you are having suicidal thoughts, they should see you very quickly. l wish you the best. Life will get better. Please do not do anything to hurt yourself or anyone else.

Being a teenager sucks & is harder than hard. counselors dont help, my friend. They r called TheRapists for a reason.

My best advice? Leg it to ur local homeless man & park ur arse next to him for a few days & beg for change. You can learn more about hardship from a homeless person than u can imagine in ur wildest fantasies...

You need to seek a therapists help! Hormones can only be blamed for so much in this instance, their could be some chemicals off balance in the brain too. Life is always better than the alternative death, one is permanent, the other way too short!

yep, sounds like bi-polar/manic-depressive disorder. just hang in there, there r medications that can help ur mood swings but u really should get the counseling too it really helps. if u cant wait for that, many family doctors can prescribe an anti-depressant temporarily just make sure u tell ur doc that u feel a little suicidal at times so she/he can prescribe u the right meds( some anti-depressants can make u feel more suicidal) suicide is not the answer, im severely depressed myself but suicide wont solve anything, it will just hurt everyone who cares about u & u will miss the rest of ur life

yes u could be having a form of depression called manic bi Polar it is bad mood swings they can last minutes hours days weeks or even months anger, crying feelings of hopelessness , feeling empty & alone , tired euphoric almost like ur flying high , & than u crash & hit a low & become so depressed all u think about is dieing & not wanting to live & more , like there is no one out there that cares well 1st off l want to tell u the God cares for u & loves u , & ur not alone there r places u can seek help ur local doctor ur local hospital er if ur feeling like hurting ur self or ur feeling out of control they can help u get treatment fast , u wont have to wait for a counselor apt , l wish u the best & please remember this God wont give u more than u can handle in a day for he has already walked in r path be for we were ever born & knows what we can handle & what we cant , & there for he will never over load us u will make it through to tomorrow trust me l know ive lived with manic bi Polar all my life l finally went off all meds 3 years ago after my brother was murdered & im doing great see so its not hopeless & l too thought my life was & that id never be normal so to speak . Hi there, am really sorry to hear that u feel the way u do.. If the dr's., r 2 busy & waiting list too long have they not suggested any groups that might help you. Has this started since puberty? Has something happened in the family & it has now affected you.. Were u left out of any major decision making?.Is school work or homework causing u concern?.

Sometimes we just need someone to talk to someone.. or maybe try writing down each time u have these moods & what u think set it off.
Try some sort of relaxtion techniques.. quiet room, easy music, swimming, reading.. these only some things that might help until u ccan be seen by someone professional.
