I am 26 and l have problems forming relationships with other people. l have a special group of friends which l do not tend to grow. They were made in school. l never meet anyone when I am out, l just chat to my group of friends. It is a lonely world.. Can anyone relate to this, or do l have serious problems?

Oh golly, You sound like a really neat person. If u have a special group of friends then u r really something special! The world IS a lonely place on the whole is not it? And the older u get the lonelier it sometimes gets. You r in a tough age group. Around ur age friends start to get married & build their families & kind of drift off into their own new circle. Those that r single often flit from bar to party & back again trying to find that ''special someone'' or just wanting to keep from feeling alone. But they r still lonely in my experience. Party buddies r not ''real'' friends. You have people who care about u & r real friends. It does not matter that u do not have ''lots'' of them. That they still enjoy a relationship with u after all these years proves that u have a character that is valuable. Now, if u feel like making more new & exciting friends & meeting more of the ''opposite sex'' try some of the dating sites online & go slow, get to know a few people & see how u like it. And do not be down on yourself.very few people have several''REAL'' friends!
