long story short, l used to be abused until just recently. first by cusin, then baby sitter, and most recently brother.

he would hit me with steel toe boots hangers pipes bats whatever he could find, and of course it would hurt, but then l would just break out laughing telling him to hit me and get this adrenaline rush and push him and get in his face and it would really scare him that l was laughing and being agressive at the same time.

is that just instinct to stop from getting hurt? is it cuz of my disorder? what caused that?
and l was just gonna say, no l dont like gettng abused

i did karate for a long while,now that ive stopped l feel the need to punch a wall or get hit by something,my body prob think ive become a wuss(must be right)

We all react differently to stressful situations. Sometimes when the situation is really bad our minds go into a sort of defensive mode in order to protect itself. Sometime part of the defense involves having the opposite emotional reaction then u would normally expect. How each person responses to a stressful situation is different but they r all normal in their own way.


However this reaction u r having means that u r under serious mental stress. It would be a very good idea to try to talk to a professional or someone that u can trust. Being abused by family is one of the most tromitizing things that can happen to a person. Even if u think u r fine, l highly advise seeking help.

Perhaps it is an emotional defense mechanism - laughing to distract your body from the pain you're in and help you to protect yourself. l hope you speak up to someone about the abuse and get away from these people. Take care of yourself.

Kinda had a same situation-

when my dad abused me- (4-5 years ago, he died in '05) l would break out into laughter- usually with a bloody nose & in one case a broken rib.

Just enlighten it, think of it this way:

If u r attacked, & beaten, l am almost 100% positive that the person beating u would run away as fast as possible when u start laughing. If l were you, i'd use it to my advantage.
For psycological warfare, u will always win.

LOLL..same here..whenever someone gets mad..or my sis (twin) hits me..i just laugh..and then when she hits me..(not purely abusive)..is start to laugh..then out of nowhere in my head..i start to hit her..and then it turns into & ugly cat fight..but we make up in like 5 minutea anyways texplainin that ..i do not know..i know that i'm not the only 1..it is just our relfex & our reaction to getting hit..if that helps..i kinda laugh because it is mi twin..i always thought l was stronger then her..even thought she is a bigger size then me..=D

l think it is just hysteria and you nerves. l do not think it is anything else.
