Whenever people say the slightest remarks or even look me in the wrong way...l take it as an attack and gets all defensive about it. l know this is all in my head.

How can l change the way of how l think? l do not like being like this.
Sometimes, it gets too overwhelming to the point where l think everyone is against me... :(

It is going to be OK but perhaps you should visit with a professional counselor to gain some life tips to help you deal with situations like that.

Anyway , loosen up a bit Arch, not everyone is out there to be against you. This is more about self-conciousness. When the people who truely care for u & whom u care for give constructive but honest advice without bad intention, take it to advance yourself hey. And always remember though, not all the nice remarks r of good intentions hey . They can be lies , or aact as distractions so u stray aaway from ur own path , at the end, they would reach the goal that u have set out to reach first.

l have to go through that every day. l get nasty remarks about my style or about my personality. they all look at me like im some freak. what l do is think that all life has value & how wonderful l am. think about all the positive things about yourself. those people obviously have problems & try to bring people down to their level. make a snarky remark back at them or give them a dirty look. blast sum music & get the anger (or) sadness out. write a poem or song about how u feel. write a mean letter to the person who made u feel bad & do u have any pets? do u know pets make u overcome these problems? mainly dogs. people suck sometimes. just be yourself. good luck.

Aww archy. Do u feel more sad or mad about this? What l usually do is start exercising or punch a punching bag. Watch funny things.. If someone makes a nasty remark, laugh at it. Make it into a joke or something. Or if someone looks at u in the wrong way, smile at them or wink.. it is like saying to them ''F*ck you, l love myself.'' Whats ur hobby? Do u like drawing, painting or taking photography pictures, or a sport? Do those when u r feeling down. There r people out there who r going through the same exact thing as you. *wink wink* Do not let ANYONE make u think different about yourself. Just laugh at life, & be you're wonderful self. Tons of people love you! And if anything else is bothering you, u always have us on ! .. :) lol

l used to be like that too but then l just got it in my head to just take it in one ear take it out the other b/c most of the time people are just kidding. l tried not to take anything seriously. and now im hardly sensitive at all.
