My brother was diagnosed with ADHD when he was 8, he is now 16 & has been diagnosed with several other mental health illnesses. His violent & aggresive outbursts have meant he has been admitted to a childrens psychiatric unit twice, each stay lasting over a year, he is now in a children is home as my mother could not cope with him & he was becoming a risk to my younger sister. His violence drove me to a breakdown which l had to be treated for in psychiatric unit. He is such a trouble that the children is home he is now staying in has declared that he is too much of a risk to staff & children. He could never concentrate on work from a very young age & so has dropped out of school long ago & l doubt he has the patience, concentration or control to ever hold down a job.
