In High School l was always on top of game. l was always the cheery happy guy that everyone got along with. Then things changed l became infatuated with this girl. She was on my mind 24/7, anything l did, l had her on my mind. Turns out she was not interested in me. Depression hit me like a car on the freeway, and Id cry myself to sleep. No matter wht anybody told me l could not get over it. It got so bad l could not socialize, and l dropped out of school. Its been 2 years and things just keep getting worse. l cant go out in public without feeling like everyones looking at me. I am 19 and l look like I am in my mid twenties, When people talk to me l flinch, l cant look at them without feeling nervous ''even around my own family''. l have no motivation , l cannot leave the house willingly. Please help l need Psychological advice, Im sick :*(

You're right. You are sick. You are depressed, and that is a medical condition. You need to see your doctor as soon as possible and get treated with psychotherapy and possibly medication. You will feel much better as soon as you get on the road to getting help.

l am very sorry u r going through this! I've had my own ''lows'' too. It is hard to pull yourself out of these dark times on ur own. It is good that u r acknowledging this problem & asking for help.

My advice is please please go talk to someone. Seek a social worker or therapist. Talking is a great start to healing. l am no doctor, but it sounds like u might need medication. Many people need medication in order to function better or properly in life. It is nothing to be ashamed of. If u do need medication, then u will need to see a psychologist that can prescribe the best thing for you. It sounds like u have some type of depression and/or anxiety.

More advice: try to talk to ur family. They should love & support u through this. Again, do not feel ashamed around them. If u r worried about the financial strain of this problem, try & get their financial support too. It is way more important for u to get yourself healthy & happy. If u do not, then ur life will continue to spin out of control. You deserve a normal life!

l would not normally answer peoples questions on ! but l see some of myself in you.
l am 20 & have some of the same issues, although l was not hung up on a guy. l too have very little motivation & do not go out hardly at all. My whole life l have struggled with Migraine Disease which caused me to miss a lot of school resulting in no friends & depression. l am not very social & even my family has a hard time getting me to open up. My doctor put me on a mild anti-depressant called Lexipro which seemed to help (although l no longer am on it but probably should be).
If u do not want to take meds my best advice is to do something that makes u happy. Start a hobby like writing or painting. And then sometimes u just have to force ur self to get out even if its just to the store or something. Life goes on & if u do not participate it will just pass u by.
It sucks but hang in there!
