He used to be in the 95th percentile for height and then suddenly, around age 11, his growth rate dropped off.Now at 14, he is in the 50th percentile!His dad & l are both very tall so l took him to the doctor & she ran bloodwork.She called to say his testosterone level was extremely low (80) and should be 250-800.He is seeing an endocrinologist today but l wanted to ask the community if anyone has ever dealt with this?Could that be the reason for his short stature?

The low testosterone is a bigger concern than being average height. They have to see if it is a problem with the testes, or the pituitary or if your son is just going through puberty late.
