l may just be having a bad day but heres the story,
l cant get motivated for anything, l feel l have the weight of the world on my shoulders... l hate my school l hate the town that l live in and so does my family. im worried about my whole familys health and how there doing. l have alot of hobbies but l cant do them any more for long periods of time because l have so much home work. l cant b happy about any thing any more and this is not like me!!!!! should a twelve going on thirteen year old really feel like this???? please help me.

Absolutely, you're completely normal.

You might have depression, but l would not be so quick to jump to that conclusion. You're a little young, but around the right age for teenage angst to start kicking in. However, it sounds more like u r referring to a deep sadness that wo not go away no matter what. That is something different entirely, especially at ur age. If this feeling does not go away, l think u should see a doctor & see if u can be treated for it. l am on medication for depression, & it really does help. Good luck!!

Definitely talk to a teacher, counselor, or your parents. You need to get evaluated for possible depression. l went through the same thing at your age but blew it off as just going through puberty. Now Im addicted to cutting and have attempted suicide many times. l wish l would have gotten help when it was much easier. l dont want anyone else to go through the hell Im living in.
