I've been waking up during the night not feeling good, very often for the past 4 ormonths.l have a deathly fear of vomiting, which l havent done for 6 years and years before that.l came to Maui to relax and do fine during the day like usual but am waking up nights.l woke up tonight, my stomach hurts and is really tight, l had some crazy nightmares and l cant seem to calm myself down.Any quick fixes?i'm sitting in my hotel room.

Try some Dramamine, you can get it over the counter helps nausea and makes you sleepy.

this sounds like a stress problem or something you ate so my fix is alka seltzar a hot bath or swim or l have some soup and watch some tv and unwind

Knowing that you've had trouble sleeping for some time now & have been extremely stressed out, I'd say you've got an all time high case of anxiety.

The only thing l can suggest while you're on vacation is to look up self-hypnosis online & see if u can calm yourself some. l had to do that for severe anxiety a few years ago & my therapist taught me how to do it recently.

It only involves lying quietly on ur bed or someplace comfy & doing something like counting backwards from 10 & breathing deeply.

If u r able to relax enough, u may begin to discover the source of ur anxiety/stress.
