How do you feel happy when you are sad and moody

l feel horrible at the moment - really moody and angry all the time and have nothing to say. Feel terrible and really sad :( . What can l do to boost my mood ? It is really getting me down ... (mixture of girl issues and cold weather and stressful relationships is the cause l think) Any tips on how to be happy again ?

if it was me l would do what l enjoy most and chat with friends, you can always trust your friends to help you in your problems, if that does not work try to forget it.

put some of your favourite music on and have a shimmy around the house, and sing really loudly. alternatively eat loads of chocolate, meet a pal and laugh your heart out at funny stories

Soon it will be Halloween then Bon fire night then Christmas, then New Year, then all the darkness will fade into spring. Then Summer it may be hot this year (uk)

I've had a lot of doctors tell me l need to ''deal'' with my anger by beating up pillows on my bed and screaming whatever comes out. It used to help me, but now l am just too tired to bother. ( l am on medication that makes me feel nothing now).

ice cream always always always helps me. and taking a really long hot shower/ bath. then l sleep. after that l usually feel better!

A quick way to pick yourself up is exercise. Whether it is 30 minutes or 1 hour, you will feel better 'cause 1) you've accomplish something 2) you are doing something positive for your health.

Another way to be more positive is to share your feelings with someone you trust (a family member or a friend). Most of time, all you need is a change of perspective on the issue at hand (what is making you sad and moody).

You should try to pin point what it is that is making u unhappy. Could u be suffering with S.A.D?

I'd say, first of all take a time out & have some 'me' time. That is what l do when l get like that.

Go out & buy a new nail polish & a few different bath bubbles. Then mix all the bubbles together & have a nice long bath with no interruptions! Turn ur mobile off & if theres anyone in the house tell them to leave u alone & that u need some space. When u get out the bath paint ur nails this is proven to be a stress killer i'm not sure why! Then have an early night so u wake up fresh.

Go shopping on u own or start reading a book. Reading a book makes u think about situations in ur life that u know need sorting because u will liken yourself to a character. Shopping gives u time to go where u want to go & think about what ever u want.

Go to Boots & buy 'Rescue Remedy.'

Buy a notepad & write everything down. All ur thoughts & feelings, have a sort of clear out in ur head. Everything looks simpler on paper & u will understand things clearer.

Once u destress ur mood will change. Good luck & l hope u cheer up soon x

l curl up in my bed, eat chocolate, read a book, cry, and then fall asleep.
Sleep cures everything. :)

OR, l can tell you a really bad joke!
