Ok, so when l was in K-5th grade, l was mercilessly teased at school. l was depressed, angry, and felt worthless. It did not help that l have ADD and did not learn to read until later then everyone else. My self esteem was shattered and l never got it back. The weird part is I am not depressed or angry any more, but my self esteem is so low that l feel like anything l do is worthless. I am asking more how should l deal with this? l see a therapist, which has not helped. l took meds, same effect.

Another weird thing that happened, that was good, was that people can not hurt my feelings any more because l already think that what people say is true. So when someone calls me a worthless peice of shit who is better off dead then taking up space on the planet, it does not phase me at all. l guess that is not healthy that l think that of myself.

join a club and get a new group of friends. If people are telling you your a whorthless piece of crap then your surrounding yourself with the wrong kind of people. Find something your really good at and that should help boost the esteem. Just always make sure to surround yourself with positive people. hope this helps!
