are people who cut the ones with obvious problems?

Its obvious when they are cutting but the reasons are never obvious. sometimes it is how they handle stress or there are family problems. There are numerous reasons why but the signs are clear, scars or fresh cuts on their body. If you know someone that is cutting you need to get them to talk to you that will help stop the cutting.

Cutters generally hide where they cut, wear sleeves or long pants to cover the cuts. Cutting is a way some people have found to relieve some serious emotional distress or anxiety/panic.

l do not think a cutter is any more obvious with their problems than a bulemic, someone with night terrors -PTSD (like me), a drug user, a lonely rich person with severe depression while having all the money in the world -- we r all pretty much basically the same. Our choices r what make us different.

What is more obvious to me is the drunk who is driving out on the road putting many lives in danger.

not always.. most people who cut do have problems but they arent telling the world through their cutting.. they actually try to hide their cutting because they dont want people to know. its very complicated to explain really. ud have to be in a cutters shoes to reailze whats going on with them or a cutter in general. l know because l am a cutter but im slowing down quite a bit on it. l have problems but they are not obvious problems.. they are very well hid

l cut but no one knows l do because like most people who cut l hide the marks from people. l have my reason why l cut and l am ashamed about it so that is why l hide it. l am seeing a mental health nurse. On the other hand if someone is cutting and showing their cuts off then yes it is an obvious call for help not attention but help. There is something they want help for but feel unable to ask for help.

Blood letting has been around 4 years. l cut because it releases toxins and endorphins and sends a sense of calmness to my body. l cut because l hurt and stress a lot and it relieves me. Everyone has problems and deals with them differently. l am bipolar. My bf noticed my cuts and threatened to have me hospitalized so now l get tattoos. l have least 40. The tatts look and feel much better than cutting.
