So, my life is not all that bad but for some reason l just can not be happy. l am miserable on a constant basis. l know, l know there are plenty of awful things in the world and l should feel very lucky that l have people who love me and l have a roof over my head and food to eat, and trust me l am grateful.
But on the other side l can not find a job. l am a college graduate and cannot find a job so that is really wearing me out as paying bills is becoming harder and harder. Secondly, I am in a relationship with a guy and even though he swears he wants to be with me and loves me, l have the hardest time believing him and therefore every little thing he says and every tone in his voice leads me to assume the worst and therefore causes me to believe he does not love me. It is so frustrating, why can not l just be happy and not be so super sensitive?
l have a lot of trust issues that stem for my past so I''m sure that plays a role in my relationship. But how can l just be happy? What are tips that could make my days a little better as l get through this rough time in my life? How can l get over this seemingly depression and accept things the way they are?
Really down so any advice would be great.

l am sorry you're having such a hard time. l am not sure l have much good advice, though.
In part, l see that ur having a hard time finding a job has u stressed & upset. And who can blame you? l think that if u persist, & keep looking, something will come along for you.
If u have trust issues from the past, maybe u need to talk with someone? You know, most counties in the USA have mental health clinics (try the Health Department for information) which offer free or very low cost help for those who can not afford it or dont' have insurance. l went twice in my life, & did have two decent therapists who helped quite a bit.
l can not give u advice about ur boyfriend.. that is something you're going to have to work on, hon.
I'd also like to say that exercise can be a huge help in the way we feel. l try to walk about 30 minutes a day, & it really does give me a lift. I've had life long problems with depression (bipolar disorder), so l understand. Exercise helps release endorphins (happy hormones) into our system. & walking is free.
