do i have anxiety or something

when ever l need to do something ''like yesterday at lunch l had to go up and buy a ticket for my dance'' l get really nervous even for simple things my heart beats faster and my stomach gets up set am l fine? l have not told my parents should i? my mom says shes has anxiety and needs to calm down is it hereditary?

You and your mom should consider getting some kind of professional help toward regulating your anxiety. It is not helpful just to saunter along as though this is normal. It is not.

Anxiety is a normal reaction to stress. It helps u cope with tense situations. It also helps u focus on the task at hand & motivates you. Almost everyone experiences anxiety from time to time. Typically, anxiety goes away when the triggering event is resolved.
However, anxiety is a problem when it becomes an excessive, irrational dread of everyday situations, such as riding an elevator or leaving ur house. People with anxiety disorder experience fear & worry that r out of proportion to the situation. These feelings r difficult to control & r more intense & last longer than normal feelings of anxiety. For instance, while it is normal to feel anxiety before public speaking, a person with anxiety disorder may consistently worry about speaking with small groups of people in everyday situations.
Both normal worry & anxiety may be associated with the following symptoms. However, a person with anxiety disorder will experience these symptoms more frequently & intensely:
Restlessness
Fatigue
Irritability & crankiness
Muscle tension
Headaches
Sleep difficulties (unable to fall or stay asleep)
Feelings of panic, such as sweating & shortness of breath
If u find it difficult to control ur worry or stress or if anxiety interferes with ur daily activities, consult ur doctor or a mental health professional. If u r diagnosed with an anxiety disorder, effective treatment is available.

This may be a form of social anxiety.
There is a chemical embalance or neuro transmitters in the brain.
A simple medication can level this out.
Its a very common problem in adolescents.
It could have a bit to do with genetics.. or u could see how ur mom has anxieties & she has caused u to have the behavior.
Talk to ur mom about it.. & see ur family doctor.. its really not a big deal.
There is no reason to live ur life with anxiety all the time.. especially when something can be done about it.
l had really bad anxiety in middle school but l saw a doctor & he helped me.

Negative emotions (like sadness, stress, anger, etc.) causes ur Serotonin production to be low; when ur Serotonin level is low, u r more prone to getting Anxiety, Panic Attacks, Depression, etc.

Medication like Antidepressants (SSR l - Selective Serotonin Reuptake Inhibitor) helps to boost Serotonin level.
But there r natural ways to do it without medication. There is this strange herb called ''St John is Wort'' - it is said to be more effective than Prozac. No, it is not for mild depression only & ignore those sayings. In fact, it does help anxiety & panic-attacks as St John is Wort works like prozac. Other natural ways will be exercise, diet, more exposure to light, etc.

The problem is that, even if ur Serotonin is balanced. u have that ''learned behavior'' in ur mind. You need to break that initial cycle to destroy that learned behavior - Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) does this. A technique that u can use without CBT will be Distraction. There r several other techniques to help cope them!

You can check the symptoms. But, keep in mind that it is highly treatable and do not fight it too much (it is just the body is natural response for danger- once you realize there is no danger- it vanishes).
