Im always worrying about my health or loved ones to the point that im walking around in a dazed consumed in my thoughts. l catastrophize everything. If ive got a bad head l automatically think ive got a brain tumour or cancer. However im always scared to go to the docs. l know l shouldnt worry but l cant help it. What can l do? Does anyone else do this? regards

l use to be just like this & it has gotten better over the past few years. l use to think anytime l got a headache it was a brain tumor until l went to a doctor & he told me it was allergies.. l fought with my doctor until he was to the point that he scheduled a full MR l to prove that l did not have a brain tumor.. A few days after my MR l my doctor called me & wanted me to come in to his office to speak with me.. He told me that l may be a hypochondriac (a form of anxiety) & he was right.. l learned many ways on how to deal with certain issues that l faced such as; fear to eat food that someone else prepared for me & feeling that everyone was watching we as though l was walking in a funny way. You have to retrain ur brain & seeing a psychologist will improve the outcome..
