My bf is very down at the moment regarding his job. He got a verbal warning from the boss and now he feels that the boss wants him out of the company. He is very depressed over it. l wanna make him feel better but everything I've tried so far has not worked. I've told him not to worry about it, that I am there for him and that I will listen to anything he has to say. l brought him out yesterday for lunch and a walk so that he could clear his head. Things just seem to be worse today. It will probably take some time before he feels any better but is there anything else l can do to brighten his mood?

l would say go out to an upbeat club or the movies. Nothing slow & romantic like going to dinner to cheer him up. Why? Because with nothing going on he has too much time to think about what happened with his job and all he does will worry. However going to the movies or club will get him out and get him to have some fun and forget all about what his boss said. [: Hope l helped you. Good luck!

Just be really positive. Tell he, they gave u a verbal warning to give u a chance-if they did not want you-they would have let u go. Just tell him all he has to do is try his best. Maybe share what is going on at ur job & maybe that will help. Me & my husband work at the same place & he gives me his view of what goes on & l find that l take things the wrong way. l do not know how many times I've been chewed out by some bosses, who did almost beg me to stay when l found another job. That same one gives me a great recommendation. But tell him if he does consider leaving the job to have another one in place & the money to cover till the first pay period.

You dont put a bandaid in ur knee if the pain is in yuor wrist. LOL that sounds stupid of me but u know what l mean. Tell him talk to his boss. Why is the big deal & lack of in this company that u going to get me fired??
The best way to talk to his boss is after hours. never talk to a boss' in working hours, their mind is clogged this times & no need to take & listen to anyone is depressive/dramatic things. This way, they bought have empty mind & more ready to be open to each other.
Tell him to be open. Being open to anyone not just ur boss can take the negativity out of u & let new things in instead. So be open, dont play defensive in this moment & he will notice this switch will be flipped.

- Things that ur bf could improve in his job (this doesnt mean the more work he do the better, sometimes the opposite is the cure)
