shock treatments left some memory impairment. If there is a bipolar seeing this, l would appreciate input.

l live alone & l am 49, l have bi-polar, severe depression, anixety & u name it. Yes, U can live alone & be happy. It takes medication thou. please email if u need to, l can answer alot of any other questions u have. Tell u about some excellent medications, because the doc is will try anything & everything on you! So, U have to tell them what You want. l know of a great med, just on the market & it works wonders for me. l have a life again, & enjoying it, getting out alot & meeting new people, making new friends, enjoying just being alone as well! gl & lots of hugs! Being bipolar & living alone is perfectly fine. You r aware of ur condition & if it gets to a place where u r in threat of loosing ur job, home, or self just be sure to get the help u need for yourself.

The thing that makes me wonder in ur question about living alone is not the bipolar it is the memory impairments. if these r severe & excessive u may want someone to drop by or call now & again to keep u organized & on top of them. But if they r minimal & ur used to working around them enough to remember medications etc than l do not see any reason why u could not be perfectly happy safe & healthy living alone.

bipolar is a diagnosis highly associated with intelligence after all.

im the same age and l do. but its not good. l am depressed alot and need someone around to keep me on my toes. l have both anxiety and depression but im fighting to live my best. you should have someone and or a pet. (dog/cat) mail me backand ill help you. give some ideas. hang in there
