I don't know what is wrong. I feel like college is making me loose my mind. I just had 2 test back to back one

on cell biology and and another one in accounting. Accounting is my major but l had to put more study time into biology because it was four chapters and accounting was two chapters. l did bad on both test. l had studied like a week for biology and only a few hours for accounting. . I will be a junior at the end of the semester my gpa is low and I am taking 15 hours. I am trying to raise my gpa but l do not know how. l feel like it is hard for me to remember things this semester. l study so much l sleep in shifts, but I am still having problems passing test. What should l do

try to study the information as soon as you get it.study your notes everyday for 15 minutes and by the time you have to take your test, you wo not have to spend that much time studying the day before the test because you will pretty much know all of the information..good luck! btw..i'm in college too and l know what you mean about going crazy..just hang in there :)

Congrats on getting to college!!! omg, im in high school & l feel like just the effort of even GETTING to college is the hardest thing i've ever done, all the applications & the SAT/ACT/SAT I l is / AP TESTS. like omg, its so hard!!!!!!!! Good luck wif school, but be glad that at least u got in. And if u r even in a prestigious college u should be more proud of yourself!!!! For help, u simply need a schedule & follow that schedule & simply commit yourself to school. You can always hang out during the weekends. is not that how high school was anyway?

The business with tests is part of college, which u should have noticed by now. You r likely sleep deprived & nutrition challenged- both of which impact on things like mental performance. Try sleeping a good 8 hours, & scheduling ur study hours so u r not sleeping in shifts. It also would help to eat good meals at regular intervals, rather than snacking crazy on grab & go food. Study is something that has to be done all along, in little bits- & not one long cram session. Before a test, u should have a good meal & plenty of rest. You could also add a multivitamin/mineral supplement into the daily routine. Get a children is chewable, & the store generic is fine. One a day, & after a few days u should notice some improvements as well. Deprived brains do not function well, provide it with what the body needs & u will likely find u do much better.

Well.try to find a tutor..if you attend my school l will tutor you! ( l have above a 4.0) study your butt off make flash cards and write things down over and over or make a study group. If it seems like too much for you take less units. l wish you luck hun and l know you can do it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

this is how l was able to do better in college after screwing up my gpa for two years
1)you need to EAT & SLEEP on a regular basis. sleeping in shifts to study more makes u remember less.
2) GO TO CLASS no matter how boring, how tired, how hungover or how sick u are.
3)read the material that is going to be covered before the class
4) party less.. go out one nite & stay in the next night on teh weekends
5)relax.. u r extremely stressed out right now.. go to the gym, walk just try to destress yourself for an hour a day. find an outlet

you might want to rethink how u r studying & if it is actually working. different study habits work for different people. for some, going to class & studying the notes taken works for them. flashcards of definitions work for other people. making an outline of all the chapters works for others etc. if 15 hours is too much for u then drop it down to 12

we have all been there adn remember that u r halfway done to ur degree. take it one day at a time
