I've suffered from severe clinical depression for years and sort of given up on my life in a lot of ways. I am making bad grades in school, missing classes, just not taking care of myself. l am trying to get help but it is not working all the way right now and l really go up and down a lot. l feel really bad about this and l used to be very disciplined. When does it turn from just being depression to just plain laziness?

If you find yourself enjoying things at home when you might not have during your depression, then maybe it is time to try and get up off your butt and try and make yourself do something.

Its a hard process.

Your not lazy at all.

You feel allot of things when ur mood is up & down, so that in it is self is going to be wearing u down. Therefor given u less of a reason to take care of yourself, which l can understand. You do realize it is not going to get any better & this is going to be a routine for you, if u do not start putting yourself first? Why do not u try & remember what things u enjoyed to do before u were feeling this way, because the school thing is not really a motivator is it? Maybe if u remember the things which make u smile in life u will learn to take the good with the bad, & become a stronger person?
