my 10 yr.old lives at riverview hospital because he has schizophrenia. this is funded by dcf. dcf is ruining my life as well as my son's. the conditions are horrifying, dirt imbedded around the bed's, rust leaking in the boy is bathroom; dirty tub. my son has ripped clothes on greasy hair and his teeth are getting bad.they said they would make sure he saw a dentist,cut his hair monthly,make sure he has good hygeine.every time l go l have to bathe him,help with his teeth and buy him clothes,socks shoes ect...i was told they provide this service,this is supposed to be dcf,perfect people,so they say..i am looking how to file a complaint against them and l am not sure of a good website to help me,so l ask please if you know one ,let me know ,i am so upset about this.thanks

my first thought after reading what you wrote is to try a lawyer that will give a free consultation. the people that work there obviously do not care about the facility so that puts to mind how much they care about thier patients.
a lawyer would be direct and you would at least be sure of where you stand in regard to your complaint.

perhaps it is more important to find another hospital,or treatment at home if possible
complaining is wasting of time in this moment
