and in depressed stage do they shut people out?what causes depressed state/manic state? any info really thanks!

Bipolar people scare the crap out of me
There is some at my school
You will be talking to them
Then turn around to work on something
Then ask them a question and they will flip out on you
It is weird
l wish there was a cure for it
My aunt is bipolar and she has mood swings
At her own wedding she started to flip out on people
But she cant help it

l have been bipolar for 20yrs know.but l am on medication.before when l did not want to take my medication l would get in these states of depression real bad would not shower.would not clean my house did not take care of myself did not want to talk to anyone.that is the beginning of the depressive stage.then u become manic it is like u r on a natural high.you shop allot with money u do not have.you paint ur whole apt in one day u talk to fast u can not sit down not for 1 minute.those r the ups & downs of being bipolar if u have any of these sigh l suggest u call a doctor & make an appointment to go in & be evaluated.

Episodes are often brought on by stress and yes, when depressed it is possible they may shut people out. All you can do is be patient and wait for it to pass, as it always does.

when someone is disgnosed with bipolar, it normally means that sometimes there very depressed & sometimes there happy. everyone is like this, everyone is a lil bipolar, but the point is that, u can call yourself what ever u want.but bipolar medicines r sapose to help u be just ok, not realy happy & not realy sad, but of couse u still can be like that. it says right on the bottle of mental medications that everything the medication does, u can do by yourself. most people just take the medication so they can try to beleive its helping. when its actually just them. medication doesnt really do much, mostly its just what ever the person wants to beleive. when people r depressed, they get shy & scared & mostly they just sit in a room all by themselfs & do nothing at all. its bad to be like that. but the only way u can stop it is to just make ur self get up, be social, & do things. we all control ourselfs. what causes depression is fear. we can overcome fear simply by just doing what we want to do & just beleive not to be scared anymore. its not so simple for everyone, becuase the people that stay fearful is becuase they arnt beleiveing that they shouldnt be scared. maybe sometimes or everytime they talk to u they say they dont want to be scared, scared of things like being social or doing there goals. u cant change them, u can try to help them, but if they dont want help or if they dont want to try to do what u know is true, if they dont want to beleive, then just leave them alone, there a waste of ur time, unless they stop being scared one day, in the mean time just be friends with people that r socail & fun.

l have bi-polar,depression.When my medicine is working l act like everyone else. l laugh,cry,get sad,happy,etc. at appropriate times.But when my medicine is not working & needs adjusted l am anti-social,depressed,sad. l do not bathe,eat right, sleep too much,shut people out, l do not care about nothing.My house becomes a mess because l do not clean. l get short tempered when people bug me & interrupt my ''not caring''attitude. l get very forgetful,sometimes l get suicidal,when l am in the bad depressed stage.
When l am in my manic stage l get too happy,energetic,gladiolus feelings(invincible), l only need to sleep a few(2-3) hours a day. l talk to much(sometimes too fast to make much sense).My mind works faster then my brain if u get my drift. l can not concentrate on one thing at a time because my mind is working /running so fast.
The cause of bi-polar is a chemical imbalance in my brain.Being on my medicine helps me greatly.If l did not have any(medicine) l do not think l would be able to contribute to society today like ''normal''people
It took years of trial & error with medicine to find what worked for me.
It takes a professional to diagnose bi-polar or depression.
