To start out with, l have been depressed for over 15 years. Lately, a lot of things have been going wrong and it seems like they have been coming at me all at once. I am a ''fixer so l wanted to take on these problems and fix them. But the more l try, the more l fail.
I am getting to the point where l just do not care anymore. l just stopped trying. l wonder ''what is the point?''.
l do not know what to do or handle anything anymore.

Well u r already aware that u suffer depression. Are u in any treatment for this, any medications, therapy etc? If u r already getting help with that, ur recent added distress could be due to a need of medication changes or the like. You should speak with the person you're already seeing about this.

#2 l am a fixer type too, l become very distressed if l am unable to fix or alleviate a problem for a friend or family member, but sometimes l have to just stand back from the situation & realize, it is not my problem & if l can not fix it, there may be a reason for that, maybe that person needs to fix it on their own, because it will help to teach them lessons that will help them not to get into that type of problem again.

You should just sit back a little bit & relax, take some u time, & breath a little. Everything will be okay & u will need some self repair time, in order to help anyone else anyways. Get things for yourself in order, so that when you're trying to help other people face their problems, you're more equipped to do so.

l do not think its not normal, well its better because you are no more deppresed. Common enjoy this feeling and do not get depressed!

It is not up to u to solve everyone is problems. No wonder you're depressed. l am guessing anyway, that at least some of these problems r other peoples'. In fact,your wording suggests that u have the choice as to whether u get involved in these problems or not.
If l am right, then other people r 100% responsible for themselves & their problems. Let them deal with their problems & u get yourself on track. If u go fixing everything for everyone else, chances r u will get a pat on the head & thoroughly taken advantage of.
l speak from experience.
People will continue to put their stuff on u because they think that u enjoy it. It probably would not be hard for them to see that it can add to ur depression but people do not see what they do not want to see.
