l am going through CNA training to work at a nursinghome and l wanna work in a Mental Hospital. l was just wondering if CNA is play a role in a mental health institution.

Yes, as mental health technicians. You may need a few more classes, depending where you live and the requirements of the job.

Sure you can. Just make sure your mentally and physically able to do it. It is well worth the challenge. l find nursing homes make me depressed. l work for a pain management doctor and l love the medical feild! Good Luck

Yes, CNA is do work in mental health.
We call them BRS (Behavior Rehabilitation Specialists)
It is not like cleaning up after them as much as monitoring them and filing progress notes for therapists.
