My greatest fear is mayonnaise. l am not joking.

This fear has tormented me for over a decade. l have OCD.

How can l eradicate this irrational fear once and for all?

Once l do, l can proclaim to the world that l finally ''mustered'' the courage to overcome mayo. LOL.

honestly l would seek counseling.it seems a small thing but l can imagine it is hard.kick it in the bud and see your gp.phobias like this are the easiest to kick because its one thing

well.i heard that its becoming more common now for people to have weord phobias of weird things(such as food products)..
(i know this sounds weird.but) maybe u had a bad experience with mayonnaise when u were younger or sumthin..
and wuts so scary about mayonnaise.im just curious.nd want to know why people have phobias of the weirdest things..

l am pretty sure that a real phobia needs a professional to help overcome it.

If you are already being treated for OCD, maybe talk to your treatment person. That would probably be your best bet.

mayophobia? that is fascinating!! there is nothing wrong with not liking mayo it is pretty gross and unhealthy after all. do you get weirded out by the mere sight or smell of it? if not then id say so be it and consider yourself lucky that you do not have something like agoraphobia or something more serious like that.

You can do ''self talk'' which is just telling yourself the truth about what you fear. Tell yourself that mayonnaise is not dangerous for you over and over until you believe it. OCD can be overcome by resisting the impulses obsessive thoughts. Today conquer mayo; tomorrow the world!

i atleast have a reason why (lolz)
i ate a burger w/ mayo on it when l was young & l ended up in the hospital & l had to get my stomach pumped.

i'm not allergic to it or anything, its just that l CAN NOT eat things that usually come with mayo on it (even if it doesnt have it on it) & l cant eat from a refrigerator that has a can of mayo in it

i dunno y u want to get rid of the phobia, l know l dont. Mayo is nasty & is high on calories

to top my list of phobias, l have megalophobia. In other words, i'm very scared of empty, long/large halls & anything taller than 7 feet pretty much..
