I'm lazy, tired and cranky... what do I do to change

I am a new student at college, but i've always been lazy and a procrastinator, but now its more of a problem than ever. My room is a mess, l have so many projects piled up l can not think straight and the little assignments are being pushed by the wayside, as a result my grades are not so great... l also can not get through the day without napping, and go to bed rather early... Or try to stay up ridiulously late and do my projects, but nothing gets done... How do l increase my energy (keep in mind l eat at the cafeteria and have no control over preparing food, just whether or not to have a salad or a burger), and defeat procrastination? Please, Anybody?

l have this same problem and let is face it we cant adhere to a normal sleep schedule. my advice is see a doctor. but from personal experience l can say, i'm much more functional when well rested; you're probably the same. make sure the room is dark when you sleep and that the temperature is conducive. maybe turn off your phone but sadly, l think we just have to learn to live with a chaotic sleep schedule because i've had this problem for YEARS!

l think it is depression

tired
cranky
annoyed really easily
excess sleeping
do not want to do anything
just do not feel anything is fun anymore
either less or eating too much

Become a drug addict - lose everything - hit the streets

Then join Narcotic Anonymous - discover your higher power - develpe some gratitude and then get on with life.

or just pull your socks up - quit whining - and seize the day - live life to the fullest - you only get one life - do not regret one single day of it.

Being a new student in college.....everything is different for u l bet! This sounds like ur first time on ur own. Making ur own decisions, & not having anyone to clean up after you. You r the grown up now, & that can be scary & confusing.
l think u have to start with getting yourself into some kind of schedule that includes a proper night is sleep. Your mind can not work well if ur body is not rested.
Procrastination is a tough one to get a handle on. l know becasue l am also a procrastinator. Sometimes it helps me to make a list of what l have to get done today, then check them off as l complete them. Even the little assignments can feel like a great accomplishment once they r done.
